June so far..

June 6th was our first anniversary. We didn't have money to travel like we wanted to so we went to my parents house and set up a tripod and took "family" pictures of ourselves. My parents made us a wonderful dinner and it was overall a pretty good day :)

I started a project that I wanted to be done in time for my dad's birthday (june 13th) but I wasn't done yet so I gave him a nice card and lots of loves for his birthday.

June 18th was my good friend Liz's baby shower. I was in charge of games. I planned baby bingo, a fun baby abc game, the string measuring game and the price is right! I also planned to give her a very cute gift. Of course I procrastinated and ended up barely finishing it the day before the shower. (hehe) I made her some beautiful flower clips for her baby girl (due august 2nd) and a bow/clip holder. Her name will be Kelsey, thus the "K". We only ended up playing the string game because it was at a park and it was soooo windy!

You gotta love the adorable flower clip model ;)

June 19th was my brother, Jared's 18th birthday. My parents threw him a surprise birthday party! It was a smash!! He was so shocked :D My dad cooked hamburgers and hot dogs and we just hung out for a few hours. It was ALOT of fun!


June 20th was Father's day and I finally had my dad's gift finished! He loved it... I think :D

In other news, my dad and I have a new business in the works so I won't have to be so damn poor all the time I'm sooooo excited but its totally on the low until we get it up and runnin. I'll keep you posted ;) here's a clue.....
